There are no Returns as this is a Print on Demand business.

But we do offer Refunds and Free Reprints under certain conditions. 

Summary:

We want you to love your purchase! If there's a problem (damage, manufacturing error), we'll happily offer a free reprint or a refund within 30 days. Just contact us with photos or videos of the issue. You can keep the one you have. 

For unhappiness due to preference (wrong size, don't like it),  we cannot take returns in order to exchange a product as this is a Print on Demand online business. If you feel you made a poor choice because of a poorly worded description, or sizing guide or image on our website, please reach out via email at catboss@blackcatcottage.shop and let us know. Send screenshots of the confusing images or sizing guide etc along with your order number and an explanation of what went wrong. 

If you show us that we goofed and there was a misunderstanding on your part in ordering because of an error we made in representing the product on our website, we will happily give you store credit for the product amount minus shipping. 

Gift cards are non-returnable.

In case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, Black Cat Cottage offers a free reprint or a refund if you contact us within 30 days of product delivery. Photo or/and video evidence will be required.

  • Inspect your order upon arrival. If there are any defects, damages, or incorrect items, contact us immediately using the contact form

Damaged Product or Manufacturing Error

  • The item must be unused or unworn
  • Contact us using the contact form with your order number and let us know you will be sending along photos and videos as described below depending on the issue.
  • Email photo(s) or/and videos  of error or damage to catboss@blackcatcottage.shop
  • Your photo(s) / videos will be processed for approval
  • Once approved, a free reprint of the item will be sent to you at no extra charge 
  • You do not need to return the damaged or defective item

To facilitate a quicker resolution of your issue, we require the following video or photo evidence. 

Issue Required evidence
An issue with the quality of the print A clear photo of the received product laid on a flat surface in which the design and the issue are clearly visible in a single frame.
An issue with the print placement (distance from collar, off-center, etc.)

A clear photo of the received product laid on a flat surface where the incorrect placement is shown with a ruler/measuring tape.

For DTG, DTF, and AOP products, there is a tolerance of 0.5" for print placement.

Print in the wrong area A clear photo of the product you received, folded in a way that clearly displays both sides.
Wrong product A photo of the product that was received, with the size tag clearly visible as well.
An issue with the product (incorrect size, brand, quality) A clear photo of the received product where the design, issue, and/or size tag are clearly visible in a single frame.
A product sizing issue (manufacturer’s defect)

A clear photo of the received product being measured according to the measurements provided in the catalog’s size chart. Both the print and the measurement should be clearly visible and the garment should be laid on a flat surface.

The tolerance is +/- 1” for most adult garments (with some exceptions) and  +/- 0.5” for baby clothing.

An issue with an electronic device (manufacturer’s defect) A video or photo where the issue is clearly visible or shown, and demonstrate the troubleshooting steps being performed.

Delivery-related product damage

A photo or video of the received product, where the package, the printed design, and the issue are clearly visible.

Reprinted item has the same issue as the original item

A photo or video of both the original and reprinted item in the same frame where the issue is clearly visible.

 

Wrong size or just don't like it-Return for a Refund

    Bottom line, we can't do exchanges, but you can always reorder. We aim to make the process clear, fair, and easy! And if you show us that we goofed and there was a misunderstanding on your part in ordering because of an error we made in representing the product on our website, we will happily give you store credit for the product amount minus shipping. 

What if I just want an exchange? 

  • We currently cannot process exchanges as all items are print to order. If you need a different size, return for a refund (see above) 
  • Order a different size from the website under a new order

Can I return a gift card?

  • Gift cards are non-returnable.
